Ron Dendas Serves as Panelist for Eastern Pennsylvania Healthcare Executives Network
On Friday, September 20, the Eastern Pennsylvania Healthcare Executives Network (EPAHEN) held their annual fall symposium at Hotel Bethlehem. The daylong program titled New Frontiers in Care Delivery included a panel discussion on Improving the Health Status of Your Community. Ron Dendas, Program Officer of The Dorothy Rider Pool Health Care Trust, served on the panel that included discussion on conducting community health assessments, addressing social determinants of health, and measuring quality within community health.
The panel was moderated by Margaret Kornuszko-Story, PhD, MHA, FACHE, Population Health Strategist, at Lehigh Valley Health Network. Other panelists included Mary Hahn, Vice President, Ambulatory Services & Business Development, Penn State Health-St. Joseph Medical Center; Scott Keller, President, Dynamis Advisors; and Rosemarie Lister, Director of Community Based Health, St. Luke’s University Health Network.
